Reports

Trish reported on our extensive hurricane relief efforts which are ongoing.
Senniger Irrigation donated $5,000 to help with additional food which is being used, along with our own supplies, to augment the FEMA, MRE meals being distributed with cases of water.
A motion was made by Stuart, seconded by Chris to allow Trish to spend the $1,200 donated for the learning center, at her discretion, to purchase the needed computer equipment. Passed unanimously.
The Golf fundraising event needs many more sponsors. Everyone is asked to help. Trish said that she needs someone to take on the responsibility of this event because she has no time to help. She suggested that, should we want to repeat this event, we find someone willing to run it making us the donation recipients.
Pig On The Pond has offered us the proceeds of the Friday event, tasting and entrance fee in exchange for us providing and manning the booth that sells tasting cups and spoons. Sysco was suggested as a good place to get supplies. A motion was made by Stuart, seconded by Mike to allow up to $500 to cover these expenses. Passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Mike, seconded by Robin to change the ED’s limit from $250 to $1000 spending limit before she needs to have Board approval.Passed unanimously.
Rene suggested that the Groveland Public Works Director be contacted concerning a drainage/storm drain problem.
Currently U-Haul has a truck, that may be suitable for refrigeration truck conversion, for sale. It was suggested they be approached to accept a lower price and make the rest of the cost a donation.
