How We Assist Others
 Throughout the year, the Faith Neighborhood Center undertakes a variety of additional projects such as scholarships, DCF support, life skills, and Christmas activities. |
Current Projects
Scholarships
We give scholarships to low income individuals to pursue training and further education. DCF Support
Clients can apply for food stamps, cash assistance and medicaid directly from our facility. Life Skills
We work with the Lake County Extension Agency and the University of Florida to provide basic instruction in things such as meal planning, budgeting, nutrition, etc. Christmas Activities
Each year we hold a toy party for children ages toddler thru 15 and a party for the adults. We also provide Christmas dinner baskets.. |
